Cheri has been suffering for years from acidic disease states such as autoimmune disease, fibromyalgia, cataracts, osteoporosis, fatigue, arthritis ,depression , anxiety, chronic infections, low growth hormone levels, leaky gut, gluten intolerance etc. She was unable to garden, dance, clean house, entertain ,walk or drive long distances, lift or carry anything heavy and went down to 90 lbs.
She had gone to many alternative and conventional practitioners and felt in the fall of 2007 that she had lost all hope to get well. Depression and anxiety set in fueled by hopelessness and pain. She got on antidepressants as a last resort to hopefully help her cope, help with pain and sleep. It helped a little bit — she knew it wasn't the permanent answer.
In the winter of 2008 she went and saw Dr, Gambee, a famous holistic M.D. He put her on a protocol — one of which was to become less acidic. Being acidic can account for most of her symptoms. Osteoporosis, for example, our blood has to always stay at a ph of 7.3(approx) and if you are acidic it will pull the alkaline minerals (calcium) from your bones and organs to keep the ph of your blood constant. Ph papers can help you monitor your urine and saliva to determine your bodies ph.
She tried the various things he suggested for ph — but they bothered her stomach and there was no way she could have 80% of her diet be vegetable and fruits (alkaline) as her appetite was reduced and she needed more protein. She was feeling a little better with the other things he suggested though.
Around this time she started researching alkaline water ionizers — had read all the studies and research and testimonials.( see our web site) It seemed so appropriate for her and she picked out the one she would buy — Jupiter Aquarius — but money was an issue after having spent so much already on health care.
She saw Dr. Gambee for a follow up — He explored why she is not releasing growth hormone from her pituitary and he concluded after testing that she has neurotoxins in her brain ( heavy metals, chemicals, etc.) He wanted her to detox with far infrared sauna, chlorells, and cilantro.
She couldn't afford the sauna, and did remember reading about how the Ionizers help remove the chemicals and neurotoxins from the body. She did the chlorella and cilantro — but didn't feel any different.
In April 2008 Harry put on a Water workshop here on the farm — and one of the different technologies presented was the Athena Alkaline Water Ionizer by Ionways. Cheri already knew the technology after all her research. But was very excited to learn that this model was brand new with an advanced self cleaning system, 2 filters instead of 1 and it was only $300 more than the one she wanted by Jupiter and then when she found out Ionways is Jupiter that sealed the deal.
Harry and Cheri looked at each other after the workshop and agreed that they had to get one — even though they had just paid off their credit card and vowed not to use it.
They decided to be a distributor and turn friends on to it. Cheri started on level 1 and had immediate detox reaction — but it didn't last long and eventually she went to level 2 and now is staying on level 3 all the time — which is 9 ph and negative ORP of 350. After starting level 2 is when she started experiencing a mental clarity and lots of energy and she had moments of pure joy and engagement in life. She now associates pure joy with health! Harry had no symptoms of detox.
Harry and Cheri started the water on 4/20 — it is now 6/4 and these are the changes she has experienced.
